Matis received a grant to help him study at the Théâtre national de Strasbourg.

What is your artistic background ?
After specializing in theater in high school and completing two years of Cycle 3 at the Nantes Conservatory, I joined the Théâtre National de Strasbourg in the acting department, where for three years I was able to take courses in mask acting, clowning, movement, dance, singing, improvisation, music, collective creation, cabaret, classical and contemporary texts, writing, acting behind the camera, and theoretical classes.
Three years during which I was able to live and create alongside my classmates.

What is your view on your profession today ?
I think we need to pay as much attention to content as to how we construct performances, both in terms of human relationships and the quality of the artistic object.
Maintain consistency.
Creating spaces where we can see each other, in the fascist context of our times, is necessary and worthwhile.

How do you see yourself in 5 years? In 10 years ?
If there are still artists' studios, I hope to have one, as well as the time and money to be able to work.
