Kervens received a grant to finance his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique de Paris.

What is your artistic background ?
I discovered theater by chance. I was at the doctor's office one day and saw a poster on the wall that said they were looking for budding actors of all ages to form an amateur theater group. Since I had nothing to do on Wednesday afternoons, I thought I would sign up to pass the time, not knowing that I would eventually make a living out of it. It was love at first sight. It was an outlet. I felt like a fish in water. And since then, without realizing it, I have been studying theater until I landed at the National Conservatory !

How do you view your profession today ?
It is quite simply the most beautiful job in the world! It is the only job where you learn to live because you try to dive a little more into yourself each time to give body to characters !

Where do you see yourself in 5 years ? In 10 years ?
For the past year, in fact since I entered the CNSAD (Conservatoire National d'Art Dramatique de Paris-, I have also had a great desire to make films. For a long time, I told myself that it wasn't for me, that I didn't have the profile, that there was no door. In 10 years, I will be happy if I succeed in incarnating strong characters for cinema-complex, tortured ones. And do theater with the friends I met at school.
